01Scope

These terms apply to every treatment and every purchase at Sereine by Maud. By confirming an appointment you agree to them.

02Booking an appointment

Appointments are made via WhatsApp, email or Instagram. On confirmation I ask you for the exact address, the floor, any door code and a phone number where you can be reached that day.

An appointment is only final once the deposit of 30 euros has been paid. That amount is deducted from the final price.

03Cancelling and rescheduling

• Up to 24 hours before the appointment you can cancel or reschedule free of charge. The deposit moves once to the new date.
• In case of a cancellation within 24 hours, or if you are not home, the deposit is retained.
• With a Sereine Series, the session is deducted in that case.

04Running late

• If you are not home when I arrive, I wait fifteen minutes and try to reach you. After that the appointment counts as missed.
• If you are there but not ready yet, the treatment time starts at the agreed hour and ends at the planned time.
• If I am the one running late, you of course get your full time, or we find a solution together.

05Sereine Series

The Sereine Series is a card of ten treatments of which you pay for nine.

• The card is valid for one year from your first treatment.
• The card is personal and in your name, and cannot be passed on.
• One session equals 60 minutes. A 90 minute treatment costs one and a half sessions.
• Once the first session has been used, the card can no longer be refunded.
• Unused sessions expire at the end of the validity period.
• If prices change, a card already in use keeps the conditions from the time of purchase.
• In case of long-term illness or pregnancy, the validity can be suspended temporarily by agreement.

06What you provide at home

A warm, quiet space with enough room around the treatment table, and somewhere to wash my hands. I bring the table, the linens and the oil.

If the space is not workable when I arrive, for example too cold, too small or not quiet, we look together for an alternative in the house. If that is not possible, the appointment counts as missed.

07Health

You tell me beforehand about pregnancy, medication, recent surgery and medical conditions. In case of fever, active infections, acute thrombosis or certain other medical situations, a treatment may not be advisable. If in doubt, I ask you to seek medical advice first.

Sereine offers wellness and massage treatments. That is not a medical diagnosis, not physiotherapy and not a replacement for medical treatment.

08Respect and safety

Sereine offers professional treatments only. Any suggestion in another direction means the treatment stops immediately, the full amount remains payable and no further appointments will be made.

09Force majeure

If I cannot come due to illness or force majeure, you get the deposit back or we reschedule free of charge, without a session being deducted.

10Travel

Travel within the core region around Ghent is included in the price. If you live more than 25 kilometres away, we agree a travel contribution in advance. It also applies to card holders.

11Payment and prices

Payment is electronic or in cash, after the treatment. An invoice is possible on request. All prices are in euros.

12Distance selling

If you buy a Sereine Series via WhatsApp, email or Instagram, that is legally a distance sale with fourteen days to change your mind. That period ends as soon as the first treatment has started with your agreement.

13Liability

Sereine carries public liability insurance. Liability remains limited to what that insurance covers. Sereine cannot be held liable for damage arising from information you did not share or shared incompletely.

14Privacy

How your data is processed is set out in the privacy statement.

15Disputes

Belgian law applies to these terms. In case of a dispute we first look for a solution together. If that fails, the courts of the judicial district of East Flanders, Ghent division, have jurisdiction.

Sereine by Maud is a trading name of MvP Consulting BV, registered at Eendrachtstraat 23/b, 9000 Ghent. Company and VAT number BE 0786.321.788. Invoicing is done by that company.
